This backing plate is made from heavy gauge type 316 stainless steel and is used to reinforce the installation of Lee's Tackle Heavy Duty rod holders. It fits Heavy Duty 30, 15 and 0 degree rod holders in gunnels up to 1-3/4 in thick.
