Quest-X - Fixed Mount Vhf Radio
The Quest-X is a Class D DSC VHF with a dedicated channel 70 receiver that continuously watches for DSC calls. The Quest-X has the ability to accept a second station RAM+, RAM3 microphone or VH-310 telephone-style handset. The optional second station microphone allows full control of all radio and DSC functions. You can adjust the volume, squelch and turn the power on or off at a second station of your choice. Additional features include rotary knob for channel changing, user selectable Programmable Scan, Dual Watch, Ch16 Priority Scan, user changeable channel names, NOAA weather with alert and a dedicated CH16//9 key. The microphone included with the QUEST-X has a dedicated 16/9 key, channel selection keys and ClearVoice noise reduction technology. Another unique feature is the ability of the QUEST-X to "poll" (request and send) the GPS location of another vessel and show that vesselÕs position on the radioÕs display.
