Steering head unit has four bolts. Cable should have a 3/8" threaded stud at motor or rudder hook-up and a 1/2" diameter sliding tube. Conduit fitting near anchorage point will have (if Steermaster cable) the designated cable length number stamped into the fitting.
For replacement cable only _ measure the cable length from the fitting at the steering head unit to the end of the conduit fitting at the anchorage point.
