Like a hitch pin and clip, a hitch lock is designed to be inserted into the fastener hole in the side of a receiver tube to hold a ball mount or hitch-mounted accessory in place. While a CURT hitch pin does offer sufficient strength for keeping a ball mount firmly attached, a CURT hitch lock goes one step further.

CURT hitch locks allow users to lock the ball mount into the trailer hitch, deterring theft and preventing anyone from detaching a trailer from the ball mount and towing away from the property without permission. This CURT hitch lock features a barbell design with a stainless finish and comes with a 1/2" pin diameter and a 5/8" diameter adapter sleeve.
