OFF ENGINE BRACKET
While some installations require custom bracket fabrication, many installers rely on Balmars model 5276 to supply a solid and steady support for the custom alternator installation. It is advisable to create a platform mounted on the engines anti-vibration feet to ensure minimal stress on belts and other common components. In most cases, each alternator will require its own dedicated voltage regulator.
